Chrome and Firefox Version 100

Some time in the first half of 2022 both Chrome and Firefox browsers will reach version 100.

There's been some worry in the news that moving to three digit version numbering could "break" some websites - especially true if a site relies on identifying browser version via the user agent string.

Both Chrome and Firefox are working around the issue so the impact is expected to be minimal.

The good news for everyone on the GOSS platform is that we don't detect browser version in any of our sites or themes, so it's not an issue, whatever the browser developers decide to do.
