These courses are aimed at developers who will be building more advanced services that integrate with third party systems and manage data in the Digital Platform.
While the modules can be completed individually, they are designed to run as one course, with each section building on the previous.

Pre-Requisites
All of the modules in this advanced course require a competent level of JavaScript and familiarity with database terminology, webservices such as SOAP and REST, and good knowledge of the Digital Platform and its components.

This section focuses on providing delegates with an understanding of database management and performing database queries against your own database.
Forms - Retrieving and Saving Data in iCM
This course focuses on providing delegates with an understanding of different data stores available in the platform and how to perform CRUD operations against them.
Forms - Connecting to Webservices
This course focuses on providing delegates with an understanding of how to call a SOAP service and how to call a REST API from the Digital Platform.
Forms - Opening Connections for External Systems
This module is for delegates who want to learn API Server security, how to supply an API Key as part of a request and how to create an API Server security key.
Forms - Handling Unavailable External Services
This module is for delegates who want to understand how to manage and create custom maintenance areas for external applications.
Forms - Handling Long Running Calls
This course is for delegates who want to learn how to perform and handle long running calls.
