This module is for delegates who want to learn API Server security, how to supply an API Key as part of a request and how to create an API Server security key.

Learning Objectives

• Understand API Server security and how it pertains to external connections
• Understand how to supply an API Key as part of a request
• Be able to create a API Server security key and:
  • Assign worker to it
  • Set authentication rules for each worker within a key
  • Set IP restrictions for services using the key

Pre-Requisites

All of the modules in this advanced course require a competent level of JavaScript and familiarity with database terminology, webservices such as SOAP and REST, and good knowledge of the Digital Platform and its components.
