Articles - Overview

This presentation session covers all of the content from the articles training modules. It does not include tasks or exercises and delegates will not create content of their own. It is aimed at developers and project stakeholders who need an overview of the functionality, and would also be suitable for content managers who need a refresher of the modules.

• Understand what a content management system is
• Be able to create, format, save and publish articles
• Be able to decache articles
• Be able to delete an article
• Be able to search and locate existing articles
• Understand how to order articles, using parent and child articles, and be able to move articles
• Be able to schedule articles to appear at a certain time
• Be able to bulk edit articles
• Understand how to use use related content including media, lists and forms
• Understand and use inlines
• Be able to understand and use the core templates: Default, List, Forms Service, Search, Redirect and Document
