The Impact theme works well with an image-rich site, displaying large blocks of content as panels on a page. It includes a carousel that appears behind the header, parallax scrolling, and a variety of tab, square, block and list panels.
Page Structure
Each page in a site using the Impact Theme includes a header, footer and main content area.
Page Header and Top Level Menu
The header area is displayed at the top of every page. It contains site-wide components like the logo, top utility menu, site navigation and search.
Main Page Content
The main content area of the page displays content as entered into iCM. This includes text, images, inline links and other embedded items.
Impact Panels
Related articles in the Impact theme appear as full width panels, rather than links in the related content area. You can add metadata to each related article to change the style and behaviour of the panel.
Footer
The footer area is displayed at the bottom of every page. It contains site-wide components like the footer icons, bottom utility menu and copyright information.
Templates
These articles describe the Impact Theme's custom Home template and include example implementations of the other core template types.
