Bookings 1.7.8

Released 12/11/2021

New Features

  • BPAY-90 - Reminder emails can now be sent out to bookers before the event. Reminders are configured as part of the event scheduling form
  • BPAY-1012 - Bookings can now be added to the Payment Basket. Once installed the basket needs to be enabled in the Bookings Configuration End Point, then when scheduling events you can choose whether or not tickets for that event can be added to the basket or should be paid for immediately

Improvements

  • BPAY-1014 - If tickets for an event are free, don't add them to the payment basket (even if it's enabled), just allow them to be booked
  • BPAY-1016 - The text displayed when someone cancels their booking can now be set using the "Cancel Booking Success Message" in the Email and Message Template Configuration
  • BPAY-1017 - Hint text can optionally be added to the name, email and phone number fields on the booking form using Booking Text Overrides
  • BPAY-1019 - When a booking is added to the payment basket, additional details (payment reference, business key, VAT rate and VAT code) are included
  • BPAY-1023 - You can now set a maximum number for the tickets/packages that can be booked for an event instance. Previously you could set a maximum number per package, but that didn't prevent you from purchasing the maximum of several packages

Fixes

  • BPAY-1011 - If different packages used the same tickets the remaining totals were not being calculated correctly
  • BPAY-1015 - The button on the last page of the default settings form says "Saved & continue to create occurrences", but it should say "Save & continue to create occurrences"
  • BPAY-1018 - If a user has a phone number stored in their user profile it wasn't pre-populating the booking form. This has been changed so it will use the user's mobile number then landline
  • BPAY-1022 - The payment form was treating events that cost less than £1 as free
  • BPAY-1025 - Make sure the Move, Update or Cancel Bookings works when assisting the anonymous user
