The icon representing an article in the Articles Explorer tells you something about the status of that article. These icons have the following meanings:
The article is live and visible to site visitors. A padlock symbol indicates that the article is secured to an iCM Site User Group.
The article is turned off or is outside its scheduled display period. It is not visible to site visitors. A padlock symbol indicates that the article is secured.
The article is live but is in 48 hours of its scheduled update time. It is visible to site visitors. A padlock symbol indicates that the article is secured.
The article is live but is overdue for updating. It is visible to site visitors in its current state. A padlock symbol indicates that the article is secured.
The article is work in progress. It is only visible to its creator and users that have one of the 'AllNonLive' article privileges. It is not visible to site visitors.
The article has been modified and the changes will go live on the article start date set in the scheduled tab.
The article has changes that are awaiting approval to become live. It is only visible to its creator and users that have one of the 'AllNonLive' article privileges. It is not visible to site visitors.
The new article is awaiting approval to become live. It is only visible to its creator and users that have one of the 'AllNonLive' article privileges. It is not visible to site visitors.
The article is awaiting approval to be removed. It is only visible to its creator and users that have one of the 'AllNonLive' article privileges. It is not visible to site visitors.
The awaiting approval article has been returned to its creator for rework. It is only visible to its creator and users that have one of the 'AllNonLive' article privileges. It is not visible to site visitors.
