Note that in production environments the editing, exporting and importing of all form families is disabled by default via a restricted content lock. Restricted content locks are managed in iCM's autoconfig. In sites hosted by us the management of form families is performed by automated tasks.
The DEFAULTV2 form family cannot be edited as it's maintained by us here at GOSS. In non-production environments you can copy a form family, and then make changes to the following items.

Importing and Exporting in Non-Production Environments
To export a form family, right-click on it and select "Export this form family".
To import a new family into iCM, right-click on the root FAMILIES folder and select import a form family or field type.
If any conflicts are detected during the import you'll have the option to ignore the item, rename it, or overwrite the original.
