iCM allows you to inspect the approval sequence that a particular article is required to go through before it can be published to a site, excluding any approval requirements caused by the user or the groups that they belong to.
Within the Approval Requirements section of iCM, select the "View article approval chain" in the action panel. This option allows you to check the effects of the article-based approval requirements that you have defined.
It is also possible to determine the inherited chain for an article whilst you are creating/modifying an approval requirement based upon it by clicking the "Show inherited approval chain" in the action panel. Approval requirements defined for a particular article are always combined with any requirements defined on its ancestors.
iCM users that have been opted out of the approval sequence will also be listed.
