Building a New Website

Before you start to build a new site you'll need to consider the following:

• Will the site be IP restricted or public? Will you have IP restrictions while it is being built?
• The domain name and DNS management
• SSL certificates (can be provided by GOSS if you host with us)
• Will the site have secure content? If so, how will the users log in (register directly or use third party/social media logins)? What user groups might you need?
• Will the site use Google Analytics?
• Will the site generate emails, and if so what address should the come from?

Informing Us

When you launch a new site on the GOSS Digital Platform our hosting team will manage the process beforehand and on the day. There are a few details we'll need from you in advance to make sure everything goes smoothly.
