These articles give an overview of the Chill theme and its functionality.
Page Structure
Each page on a site using the Chill theme is divided into five main areas. This article lists the elements in each.
Page Header and Top Level Menu
The header area is displayed at the top of every page. It contains site-wide components like the logo, top utility menu, top level menu and search bar.
Side Menu
The left column is used to display the main site navigation. The menu has two modes, full and compact. It is hidden on articles using the Home Template.
Main Page Content
The central column displays the main page content, as entered into iCM. This includes text, images, inline links and other embedded content.
Right Column
The right column is used to display content related to the current article in iCM. This content is organised into a series of panels, known as asset panels.
Footer
The footer area is displayed at the bottom of every page. It contains site-wide components like the footer icons, bottom utility menu and copyright information.
Templates
These articles describe the Chill Theme's custom Home Template and include example implementations of the other core template types.
