Setting Up Room Bookings

Room bookings can also be chargeable.

Whether a room needs to be paid for, and how much it costs, is stored against the room itself. It is possible to have a mix of free and paid-for rooms.

Enabling Charging

In the RoomBooking.getConfig end point add the following:

• COMMERCIALAPPOINTMENTCREATEFORM - Enter the "Live ID" of the SBCHAINEDCREATEAPPOINTMENTCOMMERCIALROOMBOOKING form. Note this is not the ID of the form in iCM, but the ID on the form's "Properties" tab
• You'll need to set up a payment provider. See the main configuration article at Configuration and Users

Creating a Chargeable Room

Use the same contribute article as standard rooms, but on the form also select:

• Are bookings for this room to be paid for? - Yes
• Enter a price
• Choose when payment should be taken
• Choose whther or not the payment status should be displayed on the room calendar
