Event Calendars

The Calendar template displays a calendar grid of days for a given month, with days on which events take place highlighted. Selecting a highlighted day displays information about the events that occur on that day.

Step 1 - Create an Article

Create an article in iCM. Change the template it uses to Calendar. The article heading and any text you enter will appear above the calendar.

Step 2 - Article Extras

The calendar always displays a monthly calendar, but you are able to set whether the week should start on a Monday or Tuesday. You can also set whether past events (prior to today) should appear in the calendar, how far into the past and how far into the future the calendar should scroll.

The second section of the article extras controls which events the calendar will show. You could display event articles related to the calendar, event articles created beneath the calendar, or event articles that have metadata related to them that is also related to the calendar. This final option would allow events from around the site, wherever they are in your site content, to appear on the calendar.
