If you currently have a members portal setup and use the GOSS Report It product, and have a dedicated subsite for Members to login to, you can use these snippets to add the constituent as a subscriber to the Report It case.
This combination of 2 smart snippets will add capability easily to existing Report It forms.
- Add the GRAB THE BK snippet to the same page as your Start Workflow Action
- On the confirmation page add the MEMBERSPORTALSUBSCRIBE snippet. This will add the option to add an email address to a subscription to the case you have just created
In you case configuration, make sure you have a "Subscriber" variation in your "Case closed" email templates (see Case Management Emails, Templates and Tokens - Standard Templates).
The output from this solution is an email will be sent to any user who is subscribed to the case when the case is closed.
