The attachments table brings together all of the files uploaded to the case, whether from the user, case manager or task users.
User Roles
A case manager can add files to a case at any time using the upload field on this page.
The user who raised the case can include files with the initial case form, or when responding to questions asked by the case manager.
Task users may be able to upload files, depending on the task they are assigned.
Escalation users can download files, but not delete them or add new ones.
All users can view/download all attachments.
Deleting Attachments
Only the case manager can delete attachments. Once a file has been deleted it can't be restored.
Outcome
- The file is available in the attachment tab
- A private note with the name of the uploaded/deleted file is added to the case history
Configuration
The total number of attachments and the maximum size of an uploaded file are set in the Attachments configuration.
