Article approvals are used to build approval chains which an article must pass through before it is published on the site. For information about approval chains and how the various approval requirements can be configured, see Approval Requirements.

Awaiting Approval Articles
Submitted articles may need to go through an approval process. Any articles awaiting approval are referred to as "Awaiting approval articles".

If you are an approver, the iCM and articles home pages will list any articles awaiting your approval.

While approving content, it may be necessary for one approver to request additional input from another iCM user.
