Adding Images, Documents and Content using iCM Inlines

Inlines are used to add content, like images, links, videos and documents, into your article.

Inline Types

The standard inline types supported by your site are described in the Inlines - Standard Behaviour documentation.

Insert an Inline

Library content, like links and media, can be embedded into an article's text as an iCM Inline.

1. Press the inline icon in the toolbar
2. In the pop-up box, choose the type of content you want to add
3. Use the select button to find the item and double click to add it to the inline
4. Depending upon the inline, you might have additional options such as:
   • The position of an image
   • An alternative title
   • If a link opens in the same or new window

Editing an Inline

An existing iCM inline can be modified by either:

• Double-clicking on the inline within the text block
• Right-clicking on the inline within the text block and choosing the "Edit inline" menu option

Deleting an Inline

An existing iCM inline can be deleted by right-clicking it within the text block and then choosing the "Remove inline" menu option.
