Special Characters

Insert Special Characters

Use this option to insert characters that are not a part of the standard keyboard. This is especially useful during the creation of content that uses foreign languages or when writing mathematical expressions.

To insert a special character, press the "Insert Special Character" button on the toolbar and then click on the required character in the popup dialogue that opens.

The actual characters included within the dialogue are configurable. See Text Editor Configuration.
